Engagement session weather is a tricky one. What do you do when you are faced with a rainy engagement session date? Whenever this is the case, we always leave the decision up to the bride and groom whether or not they want to reschedule their session and hope for clear skies next time, or push through and hope for a few breaks in the weather or some overhangs to hide under. Tara and AJ chose the latter. Only they also chose Cape May beach for their session, so not only did we have zero breaks in the rain, we also had minimal overhangs. All that being said, we couldn’t have picked a better couple to embrace their rainy engagement session, because they enjoyed every minute of it! Besides, when there’s a chance of rain on your wedding day, you can’t reschedule, so why not embrace it! (Check out our tips for if that happens!)

Tara and AJ had one of our favorite (double) proposal stories, too! Tara told us, “AJ technically proposed two times. The first time was in our apartment in Haddon Township. I was already asleep and wear a face mask to bed. He came in the room and told me not to take the mask off. He put the ring on and started kissing me while I’m practically balling and then takes it back and said “The Jeweler was right. It’ll look better in the sun light”. He then proposed that weekend down in Cape May at the Star Park beach.”
