We are just going to come right out and say it, planning a wedding is not for the faint of heart. You get engaged and immediately start thinking about your dream wedding (the whos, the whats, the whens, wheres and whys!) During this process, you will also be faced with many questions you hadn’t anticipated answering, including questions about the timing of the day. That’s where we come in. We will work with you to create a custom day of schedule to keep the day flowing perfectly. We have created a wedding day timeline sample to give you a better idea of how your day may go and how much everything really does take!
Most people have no idea how many hours of photography coverage they may need on the day of their wedding. Some think they need “all day coverage” while others feel they need “just a few hours'”. We have put together a couple example scenarios for you to understand how coverage works with us!
8 Hours
This is the most common timeline for the day. This amount of photography coverage usually works great with couples having a first look and couples who aren’t! This also works for couples who have minimal travel throughout the day.
6 Hours
This timeline works great for couples having smaller weddings, ie. receptions held as dinner parties instead of a typical 4 hour reception. Couples who have no travel through the day, or couples who will not include getting ready photos or will have the photographers leave only an hour or two into the reception.
10 Hours
This timeline works well with couples who have early church ceremonies with a lot of time between the ceremony and reception. This also works well when there is a good amount of travel throughout the day or if a couple wants outside the box portrait locations.
