When looking for the perfect venue for their wedding, Amanda and Dan looked no further once they found Eagle Manor in Fairfield Township, New Jersey.
(You may also notice a surprise guest (aka Matron of honor) throughout these photos..which means this wedding was shot by Jill and kate & jill associate, Mandy )
Amanda and Dan met at a mutual friend’s birthday party and quickly fell for each other over their mutual love for adventures and good music, along with a few mutual dislikes. (those are important too!)
They planned their wedding based off a color scheme of burgundy, blush and mixed metal tones with lots of greenery. They wanted to stray away from the obvious rustic style that you may think you need to create at Eagle Manor and they really wanted the emphasis on a romantic feeling, with lots of candles, greenery, and florals.
They found their wedding venue randomly online and instantly fell in love with the property because of the views and the homey & historic feel of the estate house. Another big reason they chose the property is that it’s located on a river. Amanda grew up on the water where she and Dan currently live. She said “It felt like home when they saw the venue for the first time.”
Amanda chose two gowns for her big day. One that was flowy and feminine. It had gorgeous beading in the back and cream lace details on the bodice. She said “I knew I wanted something “different” and the pink tulle underlay had me sold. I also think it fits the location perfectly- not too formal, but very pretty.” For her second dress, she chose a simple dress with the most perfect floral crown that proved easier to dance in during her dancing filled reception.
My sister is getting married in November and your pictures are amazing! I will definitely be sending your information to her! Just beautiful….but Amanda is a beautiful girl, she makes it easy I guess lol!!
Thank you for the compliments! We can’t wait to hear from your sister 🙂
