Kelsy and Zach’s Deerfield wedding in Delaware was equal parts gorgeous, full of fun and surrounded by so much love.

…They met in Pharmacy school, starting out as friends who studied a lot together. But after the first semester, when they came back from break they were inseperable and spent every single day together (literally) for almost two years! Their relationship quickly grew as they spent more and more time together and hated being a part for too long.

We (officially) met Kelsy and Zach in Ocean City for their engagement session. Almost a year ago and we still talk about this session (and not JUST because we spent the entire session swatting away the hundreds of flies storming us, but Kelsy and Zach laughed through it all!) Sometimes you meet people who just mesh with you, and we found them! Their wedding day was just an extension of that. We greeted Kelsy the morning of with a huge hug and felt like we were a part of the bridal party as she joyfully got into her dress. We chatted like old friends with Zach when it was his turn to put on his finishing details. As the day continued, we felt like guests who just also happened to bring a camera (and multiple bags of gear a ton of other equipment…) When the night was ending, we said our goodbyes and all agreed this could not be the last time we see them! (Hey Kelsy and Zach, we have a Ocean City session coming up… 😉 )

One of the most important parts of a couple/photographer relationship is trust. Kelsy and Zach told us on multiple occasions  “Do what you want, we trust you!” This gave us so much creative freedom to truly capture the real laughs and tears, the love surrounding the day and plenty of smiles and joy!
