We have SO much love for this Philadelphia rooftop session we shot back in July! This is the second session of our three part series of sessions we photographed for ourselves and our own creativity. We reached out to out kate & jill community looking for some fresh faces who were outgoing and knew how to have fun! Riggs and Asia couldn’t have been more of a perfect choice.

We asked them to tell us a little more about themselves and we immediately thought “we would love to be their friends!” As soon as they arrived with their pizza (from the one and only Bennys in Wenonah, New Jersey) and beer and we started up some music, it was the start of a great time! Riggs and Asia were so comfortable and fun in front of the camera (we aren’t sure if they felt the same way; they may have been a little nervous, but we couldn’t tell!) They hung out, ate food, played games, danced and snuggled. The perfect recipe to the most perfect session.

We knew we wanted these sessions to be stress free for us and our couples and didn’t want to put any pressure on the idea of the “perfect shots” We wanted to treat these sessions as a REAL lifestyle session- (or a day in the life of..) Sometimes we, as a generation, find it so easy to get swept up with the feeling of having to have perfect photos that we forget some of the most imperfect photos are the best ones!
