After a jam packed weekend that began in Delaware for Diane and David’s wedding, a hotel stay and a ferry ride later, we met up with Ashley, Chris and their three adorable children for a gorgeous intimate Cape May elopement. We walked towards the edge of the sand for the most perfect spot for Ashley & Chris to officially say “I do” with their kids (somewhat) closely around them.

We absolutely adore elopements for so many reasons! The day is so much less stressful because you can just go with the flow, instead of worrying about every minute and whether or not something will run late. We were able to pick a perfect ceremony location with a beautiful backdrop and the sun in the most perfect place, with as little beach-goers in the background as possible!

Once the ceremony and a few photos were done, we headed to Washington Street Mall to celebrate with ice cream. It doesn’t get much more perfect than that!
